Mind Onsite has provided workplace early intervention and wellbeing programs since 2017. We combine onsite osteopathy consultation/treatment, with ergonomic and workstation assessment, and ongoing manual handling/mindset training to provide staff with constant support specifically tailored to their job roles. From operational staff to administrative staff, ergonomic and manual handling factors can contribute to workplace pain and injury. Our passion is to keep your staff safe, pain free and at work.

Our program creates accountability among workers so that they are empowered to be proactive in managing their physical wellbeing. By removing the personal, financial and time barriers tied to pain/injury management, our wellbeing program unlocks a new realm of workplace injury prevention/management. Through our multi-faceted approach, your staff will have access to ongoing osteopathic care, and regular training which focuses on health education, proactive mindset building and injury prevention.

Osteopaths play an important clinical role in the allied health industry. Although their primary scope of practice are musculoskeletal conditions and mechanical pain, their training is extensive and are armed with diagnostic tools to screen for conditions which may need medical treatment or investigation. This provides incidental general health screening for your workforce and further reduces the impact of health related liability.

The effect of physical pain and injury on our mental wellbeing can be immense, and a lot of the time the two are interrelated. Having a trusted practitioner onsite for staff to consult with, provides another avenue for screening the psychological needs of staff seeking injury management, and will act as a referral gateway for staff needing ongoing mental health support.

This approach to health and wellbeing follows a biopsychosocial model, which is regarded as the most comprehensive approach to health care and is reliant on dedicated practitioners who listen, and advise based on the individuals needs.

We look forward to bringing our wellbeing program to your workplace.

Meet Tom, our founder.

Tom has worked as an Osteopath in private practice and corporate health for 11 years. His early professional years were spent helping people through a combination of Osteopathic treatment and clinical rehabilitation through exercise. His approach to pain and injury management comes from a sound interest in biomechanics and occupational movement. He believes most musculoskeletal pain can be explained by the strength and stability of our joints, and the way we move.

His work in the corporate setting highlighted the need for proper movement education and early intervention, in particular the mindset around how staff approach their individual roles and occupational postures. Because how we think affects how we move, and how we move, is how to avoid injury.

Tom is passionate about helping people in workplaces feel and move better, and this lead to the beginning of Mind Onsite.
