Wellbeing Program:
Our wellbeing program delivers a multi-angle approach to the early intervention of pain and injury in the workplace. The program delivers three key services: Onsite Osteopathic treatment for management and prevention of pain and injury; ongoing task specific manual handling and biomechanics training; and ergonomic and workstation assessments.
By providing each of these elements in our wellbeing program we succeed in addressing the root causes of common pain and injury; educate staff on how to prevent pain and injury through how they move and approach their job; and provide support through osteopathic treatment and clinical exercise rehab to help your staff stay pain free for longer. The program is supported by regular data reporting which provides key insights into where injuries are presenting and where further training or manual process review may be required.
Early intervention requires foresight, and foresight relies on sound education and preparation, both of which underpin our wellbeing program. We believe ALL injury is preventable, and that Mind Onsite is the answer.
Onsite Osteopathy and Clinical Exercise Rehabilitation:
Early intervention through osteopathic treatment. Imagine seeing your local, trusted osteopath at work? Create an active referral network within your workplace where staff look out for one another and refer their colleagues for pain/injury prevention and management. As a key part of our wellbeing program, your staff will have access to private consultation with an osteopath onsite in your workplace. Osteopaths provide treatment of musculoskeletal conditions in any part of the body, with the main aim of improving function through improving range of motion and reducing pain.
How we help:
Our osteopath will complete a thorough medical history before the treatment to create a clear picture of the past and present health of each staff member. This acts a primary health screen to help determine the type of treatment recommended, or if any referral for further investigation or medial opinion is required.
Once the medical history is complete our osteopath will complete a case history based around the staff member’s pain presentation. Here they will continue the medical screening process as well as focussing heavily on the underlying cause of the pain. We have found the most effective combination for injury prevention is combining education around root cause that addressing root cause of the to be the most important information when dealing with workplace injuries. With this information we can educate your staff on how to move better to prevent pain.
Treatment involves soft tissue massage, joint stretching, joint manipulation and gentle articulation. Stretches and exercises will then be prescribed by our Osteopath to help manage and prevent the pain from recurring.

Ergonomic and Workstation Assessments:
Ergonomic Assessments - Workstation and desk ergonomics are a key focus for injury prevention. Simple changes can go a long way in preventing injury, productivity loss and managing postural fatigue. Our simple step guide to desk ergonomics is tailored to each individual and aims to reduce the impact of postural fatigue, eye strain, and the pain and injury associated with desk related posture.
For operational environments, Mind Onsite combines ergonomic principles with biomechanics to ensure staff operating tools, machinery and performing repetitive manual tasks are using their body in a way that is both efficient, comfortable, and safe. The most important factor in workplace ergonomics is that what works for one person does not always work for the next. We don’t follow a formula, we ask the questions. Our ergonomic assessments are in depth. It’s a conversation not a transaction. We want to know what works for you, and what doesn’t.
What to expect:
10 minute consultations
Recommendations on desk, chair and screen height; Screen position and configuration; mouse and keyboard placement and general mindset advice for staying aware of posture and fatigue.
If we recommend any change or upgrade to desk hardware, ergonomic aids, or speciality keyboard/mouse, we provide advice on applicable products that we have tried and tested.

Manual Handling and biomechanics training:
The way we move and perform our daily tasks will almost always influence our physical and mechanical wellbeing. Educating staff on how to leverage their body to achieve maximum safety and injury prevention while building strength, is the focus of our manual handling and movement training.
Key points of difference:
30 minute training sessions repeated at a consistent frequency ie, weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
High Frequency of engagement allows to consistent messaging around movement and safety, as well a regular reminder to listen to one’s body and to raise any pain or injury with the onsite osteopathy service.
We don’t use powerpoint! The best way to get the message across is through action the action. Our sessions are full of learning and engagement without the slides.
Your staff will be shown the tricks of the trade for injury prevention through exercise and mindset training.
